Lauri M. Williams, DMD, PC
Dedicated to helping children achieve and maintain beautiful, healthy smiles, Dr. Lauri Williams has been practicing since 2002. Dr. Williams earned her undergraduate degree from Auburn University before attending dental school at the University of Alabama at Birmingham.
After obtaining her Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) degree, she completed a general practice residency at UAB Hospital and additional training in pedodontics at the University of Alabama at Birmingham, School of Dentistry and Children’s of Alabama. She completed training to treat special needs patients at the Sparks Center for developmental learning disorders. She has been involved in several working mission trips to provide dental care.
Dr. Williams maintains memberships in many prestigious professional organizations to be up to date with the latest techniques and technological advancements made in pediatric dentistry. She is currently a member of the American Dental Association, Alabama Dental Association, the Birmingham District Dental Society, the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry, the Alabama Academy of Pediatric Dentistry, and the Birmingham Pediatric Dental Society.
Outside the office, Dr. Williams enjoys spending time with her family.

At Alabaster Pediatric Dentistry, our team has a genuine affection for your children and their overall health. Our goal is to provide energetic and fun-loving service while putting your child’s needs first and obtaining efficient and comprehensive treatment. Our trained and skilled team has a combined dental experience of over 150 years in treating children with the highest level of care. Dr. Lauri Williams and our team strive to be up-to-date on the latest in technology and pediatric dental trends by regularly attending dental continuing education courses. Teresa has been part of our team for over 25 years. She will gladly help assist parents in financial planning so that every child can achieve their best and healthiest smile. She enjoys spending quality time with her beautiful family and spoiling the grandchildren. In her spare time, she enjoys reading, watching movies and vacationing with family and friends.
Tracy has been with our office since 2020 but has been a dental hygienist for 25 years and the dental field over 35 years. She is one of our welcoming faces when you visit our practice. She is married with three children and two grandchildren. She loves boating, the beach, her dogs and spending time with family.
Jackie has been with our team at Alabaster Smiles since May of 2020. She is our other welcoming face when you visit our practice. She helps coordinate our patients’ appointments along with insurance benefits. Jackie is also an awesome dental assistant and helps as needed. She enjoys spending time with her family and her fur babies. She has two Great Danes named Oreo and Paco, and two cats named Salem and Midnight. She loves traveling with her fiancé, Steven, and his family. One of her favorite vacation trips is going to the beach or spending the day at the lake with friends and family.
Toni has been with us since August 1984 and will retire the end of 2022. She loves seeing the next generation come through the office. She is a great listener and keeps our patients smiling. Toni can dance in all different styles from ballet to West coast swing. She has two children, a son-in-law, daughter-in-law, a handsome grandson and beautiful new granddaughter whom she adores. She also enjoys visiting St. Martin, Anguilla and the beach. Her favorite restaurant to visit is Highlands Grill.
Kristi has been part of our team for 30 years! In 1996, she completed the UAB dental hygiene program. She completes continuing education courses each year for dental hygiene, infection control and CPR in order to continue providing her patients with quality care. She enjoys working with her patients to teach them the care they need to use at home. Kristi has been married for 27 years, has two children and two fur babies. She loves going to the beach, traveling, spending time with her family, Mexican food and watching Alabama football and South Alabama- Go Jags!
Kelly has been with our team at Alabaster Pediatric Dentistry for more than 20 years! She is also our dental education coordinator. Kelly and her husband, Eric, have three children. Outside of our office, she loves going to the mountain and beach, along with watching her child’s activities. She also enjoys cheering on the Auburn Tigers!
Clarissa joined our team in 2018. She completed the dental hygiene program through UAB in 2020. Clarissa speaks Spanish so she is able to help with our Hispanic parents and patients. She is married to her high school sweetheart with whom she shares a beautiful daughter with. She enjoys traveling and spending time with her family, vacationing in Destin Florida. Her favorite place to eat is the Cheesecake Factory.
Shelby – Lead Dental Assistant
Shelby has been with our practice since June of 2021 but has been in dentistry since 2015. She is passionate about dental care and loves helping our patients. Shelby has been married since 2013 to her husband whom she met in college. In her spare time, she loves to snuggle with her nieces and nephews, read a good book and spend time on the lake with her family and friends. She is currently going through UAB’s dental hygiene school to become a dental hygienist.
